The latest National Statistics on insolvencies produced by The Insolvency Service (an Executive Agency of BIS) were released on 5th February 2024 according to the arrangements approved by the UK Statistics Authority.

Statistics on quarterly insolvencies for the UK are published for the period from Q1 2000 up to Q4 2023 and include headline figures for England and Wales covering personal insolvencies made up of bankruptcies, individual voluntary arrangements (IVAs) and debt relief orders (DROs), and company liquidations, consisting of compulsory liquidations and creditors voluntary liquidations (CVLs)

These statistics report on the period October to December 2023 and update those previously released on 6th November.
